  1. Write a song or ten.
    Sing in the rain.
    Jog on the river trail.
    Marvel at the cultural park.
    Watch fireworks.
    Eat watermelon.
    Laugh.
    Make ice cream.
Stare at the creek in thought.
Go hiking in the red mountains.
    Feed the squirrels.
    Taste the sun.
    Go barefoot.
    Build a fort.
    Have a sword fight.
    Imagine.
    Dream.

    • I love all of these. I just wish I had a river to jog by, rain to sing in, a creek to stare at, red mountains to hike in, and a cultural park to marvel at. Instead, I have a bathroom to clean, half a dozen zuchinni to harvest, a garden to water, a tree to climb, and a pond to look at. Not quite a fair trade, but I’ll take what I can get.

  2. Finger paint
    Rock collect
    Dance in the rain
    Make lemonade
    Make a lemonade slushy
    Make brownies
    Actually, just make good food
    Sleep on the grass
    Run around in circles
    Pet a dog
    Hug someone you meet
    Play hopscotch
    Skip

I hope you have a good summer 😀

    • I like it. I like it a lot. I’ll be especially good at rock collecting. I love rocks. They’re so cool. I took a summer class on rocks in third grade. We also had a section on rocks this last year in school. I like rocks. I bet I could finger paint a rock.
